Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, directed by Ratnaa Sinha and featuring Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda opened to an average response on its release day. The film managed to earn Rs 1.62 crore on day one at the domestic box office.
Although Rajkummar has given us some brilliant performances this year, but SMZA isn’t finding much favour with the critics. Of course, Rajkummar's act has been getting a lot of praises, but most of them are also of the opinion that he even he has not been able to make his film a decent watch overall.
However, producer Vinod Bachchan is still hopeful that the film will make profits as he says, "Irrespective of last minute jerks from the multiplexes leading to disruption among the shows all over India, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is well on its way to making a considerable profit at the box office.” ALSO READ: Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana Meta Review: Rajkummar Rao-Kriti Kharbanda’s wedding invitation is one you can easily turn down think critics
The other film that released with Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is Irrfan Khan and Parvathy starrer, Qarib Qarib Singlle, which has managed to impress the critics and masses alike. So Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana definitely has a tough competition, not only from Irrfan's film, but also from Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna starrer, Ittefaq and Thor: Ragnarok, that hit the theatres last week.
