The final song of Vikas Bahl's Shaandaar is out and is extremely catchy
After the success of Haider and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania last year, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt respectively, have had no releases this year till now.
And now they are ready to strike the big screens together with Vikas Bahl's Shaandaar, which is releasing on October 22. There is great buzz around the film and apart from Shahid-Alia's cute chemistry, music by Amit Trivedi is being loved by one and all. With just days ahead of the big release, the final song from the Shaandaar album, Raita Phail Gaya, is out. I took a quick sneak peek into the song and here's what I thought of it:
All songs of Shaandaar have been upbeat and crazy, and Raita Phail Gaya is no different. In the song, it's not just Alia and Shahid but the entire cast including Pankaj Kapoor, Sanah Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor breaking into impromptu dance, a kind of dance which one does when drunk. The visuals of the song are eye catchy as we see Shahid and Alia mocking rap culture, randomly flying on vintage airplanes and of course showing off their spontaneous Bhangra moves. The song has a strong Punjabi flavour and lyrics such as ' Gulzar Ke Geeto me jab Yo Yo Honey Singh Ghus Gaya' will certainly put a smile on your face. In short, this song summarises the entire mood of the song.
