Priyanka Chopra recently made it to the list of 100 most influential people in 2016 and on the cover of the magazine. But she isn't the only one who achieved that feat and here's a list of all of them.

India has a sea of talent. We have some of the best talents working in different sectors, making the country proud. Bollywood too has a lot of skilled people who deserve a lot of admiration and adulation. And nothing can get bigger than making it to the cover of TIME magazine, on sheer merit. Priyanka Chopra recently made it to the list of 100 most influential people in 2016 and on the cover of the magazine. But she isn't the only one who achieved that feat and here's a list of all of them. Priyanka Chopra

Let's begin with the latest. Priyanka Chopra, the name which is more synonymous to American Television now then Bollywood, has made it to the 100 most influential people list of 2016 making the country really proud. Her move to go west worked wonders for her. First a music career and now a full fledged acting career. It's difficult not to applaud her achievements because she is a self-made superstar! Aamir Khan

He is the only actor who featured on the TIME magazine cover twice and both on the basis of his work. In 2012, his talk show Satyamev Jayate's success landed him on the cover of the magazine. The headline read Khan's Quest while the blurb had a question. It said, "He's breaking the Bollywood mold by tackling India's Social evils. Can one actor change a nation?" It was the Asian edition of the magazine. They called him the 'first superstar activist' who is trying to highlight the plaguing issues of Indian society. Again in 2013, he dawned on the cover of TIME and this time as one of the 100 most influential people. A R Rahman wrote an ode for him where he called the actor a 'straightforward man'. He is the only Indian actor to be featured twice on the cover of the coveted magazine.

Shah Rukh Khan

When Shah Rukh Khan made it to the special cover of TIME magazine in 2004, the headline was damn interesting. It said Asia's heroes: 20 under 40! It tries to figure how SRK's charm works on people by decoding it. The superstar even revealed his secret to being an eternal lover. He said that his secret is he always plays the coy, cheeky lead.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya was at the peak of her career which promptly made her appear on the cover of TIME in 2003 with an interesting headline that said, "New Face Of Film." The burb read Aishwarya Rai leads the invasion as Bollywood goes global and gets hip'. It was the time when Aishwarya was the only person who the West used to associate Bollywood with. So it wasn't surprising to see her on the cover of this prestigious mag. Aishwarya strongly put her points across and spoke about how people from Robert de Niro, Roland Joffe and Mike Leigh wanted to work with her but she just didn't have time.

Parveen Babi

Way back in 1976, Parveen Babi was the first Indian actress to feature on the cover of TIME magazine. She was even the first one from the native industry to make it to the cover. It is said Asia's Frenetic Film Scene and India's Parveen Babi. She was just 27 then. Many attribute her spot on the cover to her bold role in Deewar where she wasn't the quintessential demure and good girl but someone who had serious and condemning vices.
