Shah Rukh Khan and director Imtiaz Ali took a stroll in Prague where they discovered the famous statue of Kafka.
Shah Rukh Khan is in Prague to shoot for his first film with Imtiaz Ali. Titled The Ring, the film will also star Anushka Sharma.
After a week of shoot, Shah Rukh Khan informed on Twitter that the team has taken a break, and are letting their hair down. He tweeted, "Team of film supposedly called the ‘Ring’ let their hair down after a week of work.So happy 2 c them, didn’t want to capture them in a foto."
Maybe during this break, Shah Rukh Khan and director Imtiaz Ali took a stroll in Prague where they discovered the famous statue of Kafka. For the uninitiated, the late Franz Kafka was one of 20th century's most followed writers in German language, whose works has elements of realism and the fantastic. He was born in Prague, and hence the town has a statue in his honour which is like his works - bizarre and surreal.
After finding the statue, Shah Rukh Khan becomes philosophical as he posted his pic with Imtiaz on Insta with this message, "I am a cage, in search of a bird." Kafka in Prague. In our case we r only trying to discover characters in our film." Hope they discover their characters soon, because shooting has already started, in case they haven't noticed it.
In The Ring, Shah Rukh Khan plays a tourist guide in the film and Sikh one at that, but not a sardar interestingly. From whatever we have seen of the actor from the sets, we just can’t stop ogling at him. We hear Shah Rukh plays a womaniser in the film, and going by his pics from the sets. he certainly has the looks for that.
