It's a Wednesday and we're at our wackiest. Thanks to Shah Rukh Khan and our immense love for him, the actor never fails to surprise us with his wit and we bet you guys will agree with us on this. He's known for being incredibly charming, humble and yes, witty. While the actor is busy shooting for Aanand L Rai's movie these days, he's also taking some time out for his other professional commitments and that includes various appearances at different social events. Recently SRK was present to inaugurate the International Film Festival of India 2017 in Goa and last night, he lent his support for good friend Farhan Akhtar's NGO - Mard. The Rock On actor had organised a rock concert to raise awareness among men against Rape and Discrimination for women. Shah Rukh Khan was present to cheer for the director turned actor and his concert team and needless to say, the event was a huge success. But you can't really end an event without a dose of SRK's sarcasm or humour, right? While the Raaes star was busy interacting with the audiences gathered to attend the concert, he went on say why he's proud of his friend and also, why standing up for women is the need of the hour. During the same interaction, SRK joked saying, why he and Farhan were never considered manly enough by others. Yes, I mean when you have a superstar of the country saying he isn't considered manly enough, it's bound to raise some eyebrows but the reason behind it was valid and pretty lame at the same time. According to the actor,"Me and Farhan are very gentle, quite and even shy. And most importantly we treat women equally. Not just that, we consider them superior to us and are even scared of them. And according to me, there is nothing wrong if you're scared of your girlfriend, wife, mother or even your daughter." And when he makes such inspiring and adorable statement, you expect our hearts to not melt? Also Read: Evolution of the brand Shah Rukh Khan
Farhan Akhtar even took to his Twitter to thank Shah Rukh Khan for making it to his concert. He wrote, ". touching the sky at .. Rock on!! Thank you so much for making it to the gig…
And expecting a reply from SRK never goes in vain. The actor replied saying, "Thank u for making me feel like a Rockstar. Ab mujhe koi nahi rok sakta! All my love for
Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar have previously collaborated in Don and Don 2 and mind you, that's a very successful franchise. Seeing the actor lend his support for Farhan and the later's presence at his birthday bash earlier this month does hint at a sequel being in pipeline, don't you think?
