SRK's Dil Se completes 18 years and Shah Rukh has a special message..
It's been 18 years since Dil Se hit the movie screens, can you believe it? Shah Rukh Khan has given us innumerous blockbuster hits and Dil Se is definitely one of them! The film, although got mixed responses, remains SRK's all time favourite even till today. The 50-year-old actor got all nostalgic about it and decided to pay a tribute to his favourite film in a rather unusual way! He posted a video on Instagram reciting one of his popular dialogues from the movie. "Ae ajnabi tu bhi kabhi aawaz de khain se," he says towards the end. "The one u love the most is sometimes not loved by most...but the love doesn't change. My favourite. #18yearsofdilse," he captioned the video.
In the video, SRK has director Mani Ratnam, music director A.R. Rahman and Cintematographer Santosh Sivan along with the entire team. He also thanked Manisha Koirala, his co-star in the film and Farah Khan. The film also starred Priety Zinta and was released on August 28, 1998.
Dil Se was directed by Mani Ratnam and the music of the film, which was given by A.R. Rahman was widely appreciated.
Shah Rukh shot the video from Prague where he is currently shooting for Imtiaz Ali's untitled next. The film is an unusual love story and also stars Anushka Sharma in the lead role. After this he has Anand L Rai's project which will go on floors in December this year.
