The Happy New Year star was at President Obama's speech which happened at Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi this morning!
President Barack Obama spent quite a memorable time with his wife Michelle Obama at the Republic Day parade yesterday where he was invited as a special guest of honour by our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The United States' president came for a 3 day long stay and will be leaving for America today. He gave a wonderful speech in the morning, on India-USA ties, gender and religious equality at the Siri Fort auditorium at the nation's capital.
The highlight of his speech though was when Obama said "Bade Bade shehron mein," the iconic dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan- Kajol's mega hit, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge! The audience was in splits and we were pretty impressed by how Mr O picked up the phrase like cakewalk!
After listening to Obama's speech, SRK tweeted, "Proud 2 b part of the gender & religion equality speech of Pres. Obama. Sad he couldn't do the Bhangra...next time Chaiyya Chaiyya for sure"
Now we aren't sure if SRK has reserved a time and date with President Obama to shake a leg on his classic song from Dil Se, but we sure are waiting for the President of America to give his go-ahead to SRK's awesome offer!
