Shahid Kapoor, who became a father for the second time on September 5, is balancing his professional and personal life quite well. The actor has been fulfilling his work commitments and going out and about for the promotions of his next film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu. However, the actor had to reportedly skip one promotional event owing to the ill health of his daughter, Misha Kapoor. If a report in Times Of India is anything to go by, Shahid's little one is down with high fever since the last few days. The report states that though there is nothing too serious, the dutiful father is having sleepless nights due to the same. For that matter, Shahid even stay stayed up for 32-35 hours to be by her daughter's side.
A while ago, Shahid confirmed the same on his Twitter handle, "The last few days have been tough. Misha running very high fever and Zain just came home. Have had to miss some promotions. Just 9 days to go for Batti Gul meter chalu to release but being a parent is above all else. Hope to resume promotions very soon."
Well, we hope that Misha recovers soon and can play with her baby brother, Zain Kapoor. Revealing Misha's reaction to the birth of his brother, Shahid Kapoor's mother, Neelima Azeem had told Zoom TV, "It is definitely a sweet and exciting part in her life. Now, she has got a brother and a companion. Misha is basically a very soft and tender child. She is full of energy and fun, there is a lot of sweetness in her. Even when she goes to the beach, she will play with the puppies and babies there... she is like that with everyone and now it is her own brother. But, of course, it is a little emotional adjustment for all the children so that will happen. But I think her parents are handling that very beautifully. They are balancing the act nicely. All the credit goes to Mira and Shahid."
