The monstrous success of Kabir Singh has turned Shahid Kapoor's life upside down (in a good way). After spending nearly 15 years in the film industry, it seems that the actor is finally getting his due. The saying, 'Der aaye, durust aaya', perfectly applies to Shasha and his filmy career. There was a time when he faced failures back-to-back but he barged out as a winner with the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. After the success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is currently working on the Hindi remake of Jersey, where he plays 36-year-old cricketer who wished to get selected for Team India.

Shahid is also grabbing eyeballs for his frequent visits to Vishal Bhardwaj's office. In the past, the director-actor duo collaborated for three films – Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon. On Wednesday, the Kabir Singh actor happily posed with Vishal for the paparazzi. Needless to add, Shahid's visit sparked rumours about his next collaboration with the filmmaker. And if a Mumbai Mirror report is to be believed, Shasha and Bharadwaj are indeed reuniting for their fourth project. They are presently discussing a subject and their fourth movie could be on cards.
Shahid and Vishal have always expressed their willingness to work with each other and it seems, things are finally falling into place. During the promotions of Haider, Vishal had said, "I cast Shahid in Haider not because he was Pankaj’s (Kapur) son but because I needed a young actor and he’s the best in his age group. I’d done away with Othello’s last monologue because I felt it was too stagey but I have retained Hamlet’s. And listening to Shahid rattle off a sixpage monologue in the climatic scene where Haider turns mad, I was reminded of Pankaj’s body language and Naseeruddin Shah’s voice."
Meanwhile, let's wait for an official announcement from either of the two. Until then, keep following this space for more updates.
