Kangana Ranaut and Sonu Sood's fractured equation has made headlines every now and then. And it looks like there is no end. A Twitter user has shared images where we can see Sonu Sood endorsing oxygen concentrating machines. As we know, this equipment has been a life-saver for millions of patients in Delhi and India. The country is facing an acute supply of oxygen in its hospitals. An oxygen concentrator costs in lakhs. He shared a picture of Sonu Sood doing the endorsement and wrote, "Such a fraud using a crisis to make money Oxygen concentrator Rs. 2 lakh." It seems more than 2, 700 people including Kangana Ranaut liked the tweet.
It seems Sonu Sood has been endorsing that brand of oxygen concentrators since 2020. The brand has put out a press release saying that the actor is the face of the brand. He is promoting oximeters and infrared thermometers. The statement read, "educate people across the country about the correct use of these medical devices and how they are vital in monitoring one’s health."
The two were part of Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi before he decided to step out of the project. The actress gave statements saying that he was uncomfortable working with a female director. He has said time and again that it was not the case. He told Barkha Dutt, "80% of my scenes were chopped off and the scenes that I was narrated were not there." It seems he had a dialogue with her and found that he wasn't happy with her project of Manikarnika. The original director of the film was Krish/ Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi.
Sonu Sood has been working tirelessly for people since the pandemic broke out. Last year, he ensured that many migrant workers did not have to walk back home. This time, he is helping with procurement of oxygen cylinders, medicines, beds, ventilators and so on. He has asked the Government to bear the cremation costs of people who died due to COVID-19, and provide free education to the kids.
