We have seen that channels have been very impatient with non-performing shows since past one year. After Dil Dhoondta Hai, the latest show to get the ax is Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara on Star Plus. It launched in October 2017 with the channel promoting it as a mature love story for the late night audience. However, it fared badly and the fact that it was at the same time as Bigg Boss 11 did not help matters either. Needless to say, the star cast is rather shocked about the same. Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara was talked about when it got launched but many felt the subject was not meant for the TV viewing general public that is hooked onto GEC's.
The story was that of Ahaana Raichand (Smriti Kalra) who falls in love with her deceased father's friend Anant Mathur (Sanjay Kapoor). This does not go down well with her dominating mother Laila Raichand who wants to marry Anant. Things get complicated when Anant's nephew Rehaan (Ashim Gulati) falls in love with Ahaana and wants to get her. It was an adaptation of the Turkish drama, Aski Memnu.
The show was in the news for an intimate sequence between Smriti and Sanjay. The show has been shifted now to the 11pm slot, which means we might get to see Ishqbaaz again for one hour.
