The music is composed by Niladri Kumar with lyrics by Kapil Sibal.
Arijit Singh, it seems, is on a spree to prove that he doesn't need a Salman Khan to establish that he is a wonderfully gifted singer. After the GIMA concert, the makers of the political drama, Shorgul have released the first song of the film, that again underlines the fact that how awesomely talented Arijit is.
We know that, Arijit, so we are still wondering why is it that you had to 'beg' to Salman Khan on a social networking site to rein a song in Sultan, when we very well know it was never going to happen!
Anyways, that's a discussion that has nothing to do with the song from Shorgul, so let's not digress from here. Tere Bina, the first song from the film, marks the debut of sitar maestro Niladri Kumar as a film composer. Another specialty of the song is that veteran politician and Union Minister Kapil Sibal had written the lyrics for the song. There is also a choir being heard during definite intervals of the song, that is comprised of a group of underprivileged girls, who have been trained for a month to sing this one!
The song focuses on Turkish actress Suha Gezen whose emotional turmoil of being caught between the affections of two men, one of them played by Hiten Tejwani, is what the number is all about. BTW, those underwater sequences were well-shot.
