Amala Paul starrer Aadai was one of the hard-hitting thrillers of 2019, which got raved reviews and emerged a box office hit. And now, there are reports it will be made in Hindi with gorgeous actress Shraddha Kapoor stepping into the shoes of Amala. It will be directed by Rathna Kumar, who also directed the original one. A source close to the filmmaker, told India Today, "Producer Arun Pandian, who holds the remake rights of the film, has sold it to a popular production house in Mumbai. They have initiated talks with Shraddha Kapoor and she has expressed interest to be a part of the project as well. However, nothing has been finalised yet."
Shraddha Kapoor, who was last seen Baaghi 3, recently urged to donate underprivileged people in the global crisis of COVID-19 as she said, "I would urge everyone who all are in a very blessed position, you know, the fact that we can even check our Instagram, tune in live. The fact that we have a phone to do that. So I am pretty sure that we can do that whatever little we can do, even if it is a little amount, we can donate to whatever cause that we believe in."
"Because there will be a lot of people who will need our help and I am happy to be the part of something like that so that I can help in someways. So, just small request to everyone out there to definitely do something to lend a helping hand," added Shraddha Kapoor. Anyway, do you think Shraddha is an apt choice for Aadai remake?
