Days after producer Michael Rayappan made wild accusations against Simbu for his unprofessional attitude and unaccommodating conduct during the shooting of AAA (Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan), STR has now extended his sincere apology to the producer for his mistakes. Speaking his mind at the audio launch of Sakka Podu Podu Raja, Santhanam's upcoming release, Simbu said, "If so many people accuse me of something, I realise that I'm surely at fault. I do agree that I have made mistakes. We wanted to make AAA as a single movie. But because of the sudden overshoot of budget, we decided to make the film as two parts, and that did not augur well for the makers. I know that the film failed at the box office." Simbu added that he knows nothing other than cinema. "I love to entertain my fans. I know nothing else. You can stop me from doing anything but not from acting. It's in my blood. If you want to issue a red card, please go ahead. I don't care about it. I agree that I have made mistakes. Now, please consider me as your family member and forgive me."
Sakka Podu Podu Raja marks the music composing debut of Simbu, who has roped in several musicians such as Anirudh Ravichander, Yuvan Shankar Raja, and Leon James to croon the songs in the album. The film is directed by Sethuraman, a long-time associate of Santhanam, and is produced by VTV Ganesh. The movie is all set to hit screens on December 22nd alongside Sivakarthikeyan's Velaikkaran which is directed by Mohan Raja and produced by RD Raja's 24 AM Studios.
