The singer got into a verbal altercation with the 17-year old girl at a hospital in Goa!
Singer Remo Fernandes, who also acted in Ek Villain and Bombay Velvet, was charged by the Goan police for verbally assaulting a 17-year old girl. The said girl was injured in an accident involving Remo's son, Jonah Fernandes.
As she was getting treated at the Goa Medical Hospital for her injuries, Remo is said to have barged into her room and got into an altercation with the girl and her family. In the heat of the moment, he is alleged to have abused the accident victim as well.
The girl's advocate have issued a statement with regards to the incident, "The singer entered ward number 105 of Goa Medical Hospital on Friday between 3pm and 4pm and verbally abused the girl."
The Goan police also gave an official statement about the girl's injury, 'The victim has serious injuries, it will take some time for her to recover. We have registered a case under IPC Section 279 (rash driving) and Section 338 (causing grave injury, endangering life or personal safety of others) and will continue with the probe.'
Remo has been issued summons to appear in front of the court on Monday. Meanwhile when the singer was contacted about the incident, he totally denied the incident and said they were fabricated lies made by people out to malign his image!
