Let's get the cat out of the bag - Sonakshi Sinha is hotter and fitter than ever! She is also on a professional high with big-budget movies lined up for her. Come April 17, the actress will be seen in Karan Johar's magnum opus Kalank alongside Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. Sonakshi Sinha has also started shooting for the Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 where she will again bring to life the iconic role of Rajjo.
On the first day of the shoot in Madhya Pradesh, Sonakshi had shared a picture, all dolled up and had written, "RAJJO is back!!! From Dabangg to Dabangg 3...It's homecoming. Day 1 of shoot for me today, wish me luck ❤️ #DabanggGirl." We can vouch, it actually felt like a homecoming for the stunner as she marked her Bollywood debut with the first part that went on to become a big blockbuster.
In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, she even said that it's basically in her pulse now. "When I posted a picture from the first day’s shoot, many fan clubs made a collage of my looks from the two earlier films. I’m glad I look the same after nine years. I can play Rajjo in my sleep. I am what I am today because of a launch like Dabangg."
Not just that; when asked if her son in the film is all grown up, she stated, "(Laughs) Not grown up really, but he is there, lurking somewhere." Hold on, it gets better! Sonakshi even went on and confirmed that there is another lead actress in the movie. When probed about it, she added, "There is, but don’t ask for details. Arbaaz is the right person to Arbaaz (Khan, producer) is the right person to answer this." So, now you know.
Earlier, Salman had updated us about the shooting of the title track which has now been completed. There were also reports that the makers will have a special song in the film. Fans will remember that Malaika Arora grooved to the cult, Munni Badnaam in Dabangg and Kareena Kapoor Khan was so lively in Fevicol Se in Dabangg 2. It seems Dabangg 3 will also have a special track. And the makers are undecided on whether to rope in Sunny Leone or Mouni Roy. However, it seems the scales are tilted in Mouni's favour as Salman Khan wants her in the film. A source told DNA After Hrs, "Initially, Arbaaz and director Prabhudheva felt Sunny Leone would be an apt choice for the pulsating number in Dabangg 3. However, Salman wasn’t too keen on the idea. He feels Mouni would be a better candidate for this racy track. She’s gorgeous and has nimble feet to pull off this special song in which Bhai himself will also feature."
After the completion of their first schedule, Salman and Sonakshi will head to Wai for a marathon shoot. The film is expected to release in the month of December this year. But, before that, Salman has Bharat scheduled to hit the screens during Eid. The actor stars alongside Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover.
