Noor will be based on a Pakistani journalist - writer and her misadventures
After making a fierce appearance in her upcoming movie Akira, Sonakshi Sinha would soon divert her attention to her next release which is tentatively titled Noor. Earlier the Holiday actress took to Twitter to announce the commencement of this project on her 29th birthday on June 2.
Noor , directed by Sunhil Sippy is based on the Pakistani journalist-writer Noor’s misadventures and love life as she navigates her way through Mumbai. Sonakshi wil share the screen space with actor Purab Kohli who will play a charming and seasoned photo journalist, comedian Kanan Gill who will mark his B town debut with this movie. He will play Sonakshi’s BFF and her vocal critic and Shibani Dandekar who will be her best friend and confident.
Noor will be essentially a crime thriller. It is an adaptation of Pakistani novel ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me!’ by Saba Imtiaz. The novel centres around a 20-year-old reporter Ayesha Khan, living in Karachi, and her misadventures.
Though the shoot for this movie has already began, now we hear that the movie will release in April next year. Sonakshi Sinha took to Twitter to announce the release date of her next project and the movie’s interesting subject with it’s star cast has already made us anxious.
Sonakshi seems to be making wise decisions these days atleast when it comes to her movie choices. First Akira and now Noor, her choices have improved and we are liking it. Keep it up gal!
Meanwhile Sonakshi’s upcoming fkick Akira will release on 2nd September and that is a much anticipated movie.
