After Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal, rumours began circulating that her brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha, were upset with her. Now, Sonakshi’s cousin Pooja Ruparel has put an end to the speculation. Speaking in an interview, the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge actress said the rumours were nothing more than gossip. In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Pooja said, “I am not here to gossip.” She added that she has met Zaheer and finds him “one of the funniest men” she knows. Pooja also pointed out that Kussh and Sonakshi recently worked together on the film Nikita Roy, which Kussh directed.
“If they really didn’t get along, would they work on a full-fledged film together?” she asked. She also reminded people that the entire family appeared together on The Great Indian Kapil Show, proving there was no tension. Rumours of a family rift had started after Luv and Kussh were reportedly not seen at Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding, even though their parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha were present.

Pooja also shared that she has never asked Sonakshi for work-related help. “We never talk about work,” she said. “My mom always messaged her after each film to say how proud she was, and now I do the same. I’ve seen her since she was a child, and I’m very proud of her.”
