Sonali Bendre is a living example of how faith can shake mountains. The actress was earlier diagnosed with high-grade cancer and was even undergoing treatment in New York for the same. Although she is back in the bay now, nothing takes away from the fact that it was all shock and disbelief when she broke the news to her fans. Well, today is a different day and everyone now is just as hopeful as Sonali Bendre is about her complete recovery. With heaps of good wishes and prayers, the actress is fighting the 'ugly C' with sunshine, one day at a time and honestly, it has been reassuring to see her stand strong in the face of adversity. In fact, she also has been documenting her journey - from her cutting her hair short to acing the bald and beautiful look, Sonali Bendre is a fighter and there are now two ways about it. But hey, not every day is a conquest. Some days are bare survival at best with a little help of course. Even Sonali did the same and sought a little help from sunshine and the sunshine colour to beat Monday blues. The actress took to Instagram to share a video of her 'switching on the sunshine' and then getting to the gym. Do yourself a favour and watch it here.
Soon after she returned to India, Sonali was back on the sets of her project and revealed how she felt to be back in action again. "Being back on a set after a major sabbatical – one that has been testing in many ways on so many levels – is a surreal feeling. After all this, I sort of feel an additional sense of purpose and meaning and I'm so grateful to be back in action. I don’t think words would do justice to how beautiful it feels to be back at work... to face the camera again and portray the range of emotions required," the actress had shared. You're an inspiration to many. More power to you, Sonali!
