Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor turns a year older on June 9. But going by the viral photos videos, the birthday bash kicked off a night before and continued into midnight and beyond.
On Sunday night, the celebrations began with a grand entrance from Sonam's Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan, who arrived at the pre-birthday bash accompanied by her husband, Saif Ali Khan. Kareena and Sonam have always shared a great bond, having worked together in the 2018 film Veere Di Wedding, directed by Shashanka Ghosh. Meanwhile, adding to the starry guest list, Janhvi Kapoor was also spotted by the paparazzi, dazzling at her cousin Sonam's birthday celebration.
A video making rounds on the internet by Viral Bhayani, captures Bollywood's power couple, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, making their stylish entry for Sonam's birthday. They exude elegance in their stunning outfits. While Saif chose not to pose for the paparazzis, Kareena quickly waved at the paps before heading inside for the party. As usual, Bebo looked absolutely stunning in a breezy yellow floor-length dress, cinched with a chic black belt. Janhvi Kapoor, too, turned heads as she arrived, looking gorgeous in a figure-hugging blue dress.
On the work front, fans have eagerly been waiting on their tip-toes for any updates about Veere Di Wedding 2 which was confirmed by the film’s producer Rhea Kapoor. Rhea said, “I’m working on Veere Di Wedding 2. It will be very different, it’s not going to be what anybody expects. I didn’t want to do it until I knew that it would be better than the first one and I knew that it was going to be hard because Veere Di Wedding is my everything. It’s such an important film for me. I love that film and very attached to it. I didn’t want to do it if I didn’t get the same amount of joy I did from making the first one. So, yes, Veere Di Wedding 2 is in the works."
