The trailer of Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Veere Di Wedding is out and we must say it took us on a laughter riot. The unusual plot and the unique characterisation will definitely win hearts. During the trailer launch event, when the ensemble cast (Sonam, Kareena, Swara and Shikha) was asked about working after marriage, pregnancy and breaking the stereotypes, actress Sonam Kapoor (who is getting married soon) replied saying Kareena Kapoor Khan is the classic example and answer of the question. She also said that questions like these will never be asked to a man or an actor and this misogynistic mindset needs to change. Interestingly, Kareena Kapoor Khan also revealed that she might be seen next in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Salute which is the biopic based on the life of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma.

Coming back to Veere Di Wedding, the film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh, produced by Balaji Telefilms, Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network and Saffron Broadcast & Media Ltd. It also features Sumeet Vyas, Suraj Singh and Paresh Pahuja in pivotal roles. It is set to hit the screens on June 1 globally. Talking about Sonam Kapoor, the actress has two releases in June - Veere Di Wedding and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju, where the 32-year-old actress is portraying the character of veteran actress Tina Munim. The biographical drama is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and is scheduled to release on June 29.
