With too many reports floating about the Khoobsurat actress' health, her publicist has set the record straight
BollywoodLife told you EXCLUSIVELY that Sonam Kapoor has been tested positive for swine flu and that she was flown to Mumbai by an air-ambulance from a private hospital in Rajkot, where she was shooting for her upcoming film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo opposite Salman Khan.
But with too many conjectures floating about Sonam's health, her publicist has set the record straight by releasing a statement EXCLUSIVELY to BollywoodLife. "Too many reports and many unofficial irresponsible statements are being made on Sonam's behalf. So we are releasing this statement to set the record straight. Sonam has been detected with swine flu but it's under control. She's been shifted to a hospital in Mumbai and she's showing signs of a speedy recovery. Hopefully she should be back at work soon . We thank all her fans and the industry for the love and support they have shown her," read the statement.
Sonam was admitted in the hospital on Saturday (February 28) after she had complained of mild fever, cold and cough, following which test for swine flu was conducted on her, and she tested positive.
We wish for Sonam's speedy recovery and hope she gets back to work real soon.
