Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has impressed the audience. The box office collection of this Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh Nijjar starrer says it all. The film, which is directed by Luv Ranjan crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office yesterday as the movie managed to collect Rs 5.83 crore on its second Friday (March 2) thereby taking it’s total collections to Rs 51.77 crore. Now we have the second Saturday (March 3) collections. Trade expert, Taran Adarsh sent out a tweet, which read, “#SonuKeTituKiSweety is UNSTOPPABLE... Biz on Sun should jump again... [Week 2] Fri 5.83 cr, Sat 6.55 cr. Total: ₹ 58.32 cr. India biz... #SKTKS (sic).”
As Taran rightly said, we can expect the a growth in the collections tomorrow. But we cannot ignore the fact that Anushka Sharma’s Pari has also released this Friday. And thanks to the positive word out of mouth, many are going to the theatres to see Anushka’s spooky avatar. So Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is definitely going to have a strong competition from Pari.
Produced by Krishan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series along with Ankur Garg, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has not only performed well in the domestic market, but also in the international markets. ALSO READ: Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety grosses over Rs 62 crore at the worldwide box office
