Drama, drama, drama! These three words can easily summarise this episode of Splitsvilla 8! Nobody is happy with anyone and despite repeating it for umpteen number of times that they are here to play the game, the contestants try to judge each other's choices with shrewdest parameters which don't even make sense. Yet again the book of fortune saves the day for a few people and showed someone the door. A lot happened which was needless while a lot made total sense.
The episode began with Utkarsh slamming his t-shirt violently on the bed because he was made at Subuhi for picking Zaan as her partner. After making tall claims like she would rather get dumped than pair up with Zaan, Subuhi did exactly what she said she won't. That's why it is said, Never Say Never! Utkarsh took it personally and ranted in front of Yash who was least interested in it. Subuhi then decides to clear the confusion. She justifies that she is here to play the game and she had no other choice but to opt for Zaan. Utkarsh isn't convinced but doesn't want to confront her any further. She won the task with Zaan and people still needed reason behind her choice! Funny!
Some relief flowed in when the boys were sent on a date with Queen Karishma and girls with King Prince. Utkarsh and Yash looked really grumpy while Paras was just fine in the date. But once Karishma entered, they were pretty busy pleasing her. As for Prince, he had a great time with the girls in the pool but Sofiya felt pretty left out. And when Prince started giving her attention, Anuki couldn't bear it although it seemed pretty forced. Sana was doing her job to provoke Anuki further so that she hates her too. Somebody wants a Sofiya hate club here we suppose!
The climax takes everyone to the stage where King and Queen use their powers to dump or save anyone they like but book of fortune often puts them in a fix. But a twist was introduced and Amad and Ishaan are brought back. Subuhi's pairing with Zaan upsets Ishaan to no end and he asks for an explanation. We loved the way Subuhi explained she had to do what she did to stay put in this show, past declarations be damned. At least, she is honest here!
Coming to dumping and saving, Prince saves Anuki, very predictable and Karishma goes for Yash which the contestant himself didn't expect. Now, the book of fortune was opened and Prince and Karishma got the additional power of dumping a guy and girl. Prince first gloats about how he took all of Paras's challenges and did them. Paras was fine until suddenly he decided to take a dig at Amaad. Heated argument brewed and hurled all kinds of obscene slangs at each other. We are guessing that because the whole conversation was beeped. It was really funny when Paras used all slangs related to mothers and sisters but when Amaad commented something about his dad and mom, he went berserk. How mature!
After all that drama, Prince dumped Paras and saved Utkarsh while Karishma dumped Priyanka since she felt betrayed by her. The latter thanked everyone and talked about realising her dreams despite coming from a place in India which hardly anyone knows about. Well, Priyanka, they might not know all the seven states in the North-East India, they definitely have a clue where it is situated. Paras however warned Prince that if he returns as a wild card entry he will show what it takes to be a king!
All in all, major upheavels kept the episode interesting!
