So this how Sasural Simar Ka producers are coping with the ‘writer’s block’?
Well it seems after daayan, naagin, makkhi and all sorts of super natural characters, the show’s makers are perhaps facing a writer’s block and maybe that is why they have decided to undergo a major leap. Yes! According to a leading entertainment portal, Sasural Simar Ka is all set to take a leap soon. The leap will be followed by a dramatic twist.
A source told the portal, "The show has already shot for a smaller leap where Simar (Dipika Kakar) will deliver a baby boy. This will follow another leap of four to five years where Simar and Prem have taken a divorce and are staying separately." Dheeraj Dhoopar who plays Prem on the show, stated, "Yes, we have shot for a smaller leap, however, the storyline post the major leap is yet to be finalised."
Manish Raisinghani AKA Sidhant, confirmed and stated, "We are likely to take a leap of around 5 years, though the storyline is yet to be materialised."
In an earlier interview when asked about the ‘makkhi’ sequence in the show and the social media trolls – Simar aka Dipika had said, “Creatively, as an actor, I have no say in the story line and so, there are no reactions. I am narrated the script and I have to perform. When I heard about the upcoming track, I looked at it from Simar’s point of view and the real Dipika was somewhere in the back.”
While talking to another portal some time ago, she had said, “Many jokes are floating around — like how it has been copied from Game of Thrones, but they don’t affect me as our show has been a trendsetter in many ways.” Dipika further added, “As I said, I take it as a part of the success the show has gained. Many of our tracks have later become trendsetters on TV. When something is doing well, people are bound to pull it down.”
