So as we all know the SS Rajamouli and the entire Baahubali team is now shooting for the sequel. After an epic, historic first part, everyone is gearing up a for grander and bigger sequel. There is a lot riding on Baahubali the conclusion. Of course the one question on everyone's mind is-Why did Katappa kill Baahubali? Everything about the sequel is being kept under wraps. All we know is that the team is now shooting for the climax. Recently, Art director Sabu cyril talked about his preparation for Baahubali 2. He had talked about creating a new kingdom for the sequel. Wow, an entire new kingdom for the sequel is going to make things doubly exciting. And now the other mind boggling news is that Baahubali's 2's theatrical rights being sold for a whopping 45 crores in Tamil Nadu.
According to a leading portal, "The TN theatrical rights have been bagged for Rs. 45 crore. The buyer is yet unknown because the makers have kept the name under wraps," revealed a source form the unit. The movie is all set to break records a year ahead of its release. It has already broken Kabali's records in Kerala. As the movie's satellite rights were sold for a whopping 10.50 crores as against 7.50 crores in the case of Kabali.
As of now, it's all about the sequel for the team. "The climax features an awe-inspiring battle sequence which will last for about half hour in the film. It's going to be even more grand and dramatic than the battle scene in the first part," the source further revealed. Honestly, how much bigger and better can it get? WE are already excited Rajamouli!
The war drama stars Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty. It is slated to release in April 2017.
