Everyone was super duper excited when it was announced that Katrina Kaif would be pairing up with Varun Dhawan for Remo D'Souza's Street Dancer 3D. This would have been their first film together. However, Katrina Kaif announced some months back that she would have to let go of the film. It seems her dates were clashing with Bharat. After her exit, the grapevine went abuzz about how it was too abrupt. However, Varun Dhawan in an interview to MiD Day has confirmed that Katrina tried her best to do the film and informed everyone in advance. He said she is a very mature professional. He told the newspaper, "It would have been a wonderful opportunity, but things didn't work out due to the unavailability of dates. She was keen to do the film and even requested us to postpone it slightly. But logistically, that wouldn't have been possible since a lot of arrangements was already done." We know Katrina's dancing prowess and it would be great to see them together.
Varun further said that Katrina made a call to him before bowing out of the film. He said, "She called me and discussed why she would have to exit the film. That shows her maturity and respectfulness, and it means a lot to me. I am sure we will work together in the future." Street Dancer 3D sees Varun reuniting with Shraddha Kapoor. People had loved their pairing in ABCD2. Varun said he loves to work with the actress.
Varun Dhawan has won over everyone with his emotionally loud performance in Kalank. His Zafar is a womaniser, boisterous, angst-ridden, vindictive and pure-hearted at the same time. He had the best character and did his best to deliver one of his career-best performances. Stay tuned to BL for more updates!
