Anushka Sharma will be next seen in YRF venture, Sui Dhaaga: Made In India. The movie, for the first time, brings her on screen with Varun Dhawan. The actress will be seen playing the role of an embroidery artist, named Mamta, on her entrepreneurial journey. Well, to bring authenticity to the role, Anushka was tasked to attend embroidery classes. Yash Raj Films has released a BTS video of the same.
We have earlier seen a very fun video of Varun trying to master the art of stitching. He used his newly acquired skills to stitch a shirt for his dad, filmmaker David Dhawa, on his birthday. Anushka, too, seemed to enjoy the experience. In the video, she says that she knew a little bit of embroidery as she learnt it in her childhood. She adds that even when the camera stopped rolling, she'd continue with her embroidery because she enjoys it so much.
Sharing the video on her social media pages, Anushka wrote, "I’m always up for a challenge. Here’s my journey of becoming Mamta! "
Well, Anushka sure has given this role her 100 per cent. It is quite evident from the first trailer of the film. The actress appears in the avatar of a village belle, She has become the centre of many memes on social media, only because she was able to look so perfect in the role.
Sui Dhaga: Made In India is highly anticipated because reunites the combo of Sharat Kataria and Maneesh Sharma, who have given us a gem like Dum Laga Ke Haisha. It is shot in Bhopal, Chanderi and Delhi. It is set to hit the screens on September 28 and will clash with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha at the box office.
