It has been going really well for Kollywood actor Suriya ever since his sci fi movie 24 released. He has been enjoying name and fame after the success of the film. Shockingly, the actor failed to cast his vote during the 2016 Tamil Nadu state elections! At a time when all actors and actresses of K-town are busy flaunting their inked fingers, the Singam 3 actor has completely neglected his duties as a citizen! What makes this even more embarrassing is that Suriya himself made a dubsmash not long ago urging the people to vote and not waste their right. Looks like his social message has backfired on him. But before you get all worked up, the actor did have the decency to publicly apologise for his mistake. The actor posted a letter on his official Twitter handle apologising profusely to his fans for this major error. He said that he was truly regretful that he could not cast his vote this time due to 'unforeseen situations'. As for what the situation is, your guess is as good as ours, although some are saying that he was not in the country and that is why he could not make it.
