If you have somehow missed the memo, Nora Fatehi’s scintillating Dilbar from Satyameva Jayate has been ruling the roost since its inception and it has only grabbed eyeballs to the movie. In fact, with the song becoming and maintaining the number one position, no person is not grooving to it. A pub-anthem, if we may, the song has also boosted Nora Fatehi's career in the right way. However, have you wondered what the original Dilbar girl Sushmita Sen has to say about it? Well you aren't the only one. And God is kind, because the diva has finally reacted to all the hype. Speaking at the Lakme Fashion Week where she was a showstopper for a Chennai based designer, Sush said, “Nora was absolutely fantastic in it and my favourite part of this song are the first two lines, which they added and is very well done. The remix is also very well done."But hey, that's not all. Now, while she has given Nora and the rehashed version her thumbs up, she has reserved the right to pick her favourite. Yep, that's right she'd still prefer that over this. "Nora has absolutely killed it but I still like the original version more," she added.
Earlier, when we quizzed the Satyameva Jayate cast about their favourite between the original and revamped version, all the three actors confessed that they like the new one better. In fact, Aisha who made her debut with the film went on to explain why the song hit a chord with the masses and said, “It is one of those remixes where they have actually liked the remix better than the original and that the original has not been destroyed for worse; it’s made better. When you do that then people automatically like and love the song.” If you're not in the know, the remix version has been sung by Neha Kakkar, Dhvani Bhanusali and Ikka. The music is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and the lyrics are penned by Shabbir Ahmed and Ikka.
