Our hearts skipped a beat when we heard that Sylvester Stallone has passed away yesterday. However, the actor himself calmed his fans down when he rubbished the rumours of his death with a couple of tweets and an Instagram post featuring himself and his two daughters. He posted a screenshot of his death hoax: "Please ignore this stupidity. "(I'm) alive and well and happy and healthy. Still punching." This is not the first time that Sylvester has been a target of some death hoax. 18 months back, a Facebook post suggested that Sylvester died after battling prostate cancer in his Los Angeles home. The post featured a couple of the actor's pictures, in which he looked unwell. Last time too he was forced to prove he was alive by posting a picture of himself on social media. He uploaded a picture of himself with Russian boxer Sergey Kovalev back then. Sylvester Stallone's brother Frank Stallone was extremely upset with the reports as the 67-year-old singer tweeted, "I'm very protective of my older brother and I don't find any humor in this fake post today on my brothers demise. It upset my 96-year-old mother so I'm doubly upset. I just can't understand what makes these sick minded people tick?" He also called out the person who started the rumour.
Sylvester Stallone was last seen in 2015's Creed. He voiced for the character of Stakar Ogord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which released in 2017. His upcoming film is Escape Plan 2: Hades.
