Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal paired up for the first time in Manmarziyaan which turned out to be huge hit. Also starring Abhishek Bachchan, the film was a romantic drama and was directed by Anurag Kashyap. The lead pair Taapsee and Vicky reunited on a show recently and recalled few hilarious incidents that happened while shooting for the film. Taapsee was asked when was the last time she was tipsy after a party and the actress revealed an interesting incident. "Such a phenomenon occurs once or twice a year, but when it happens, it is very embarassing," said Taapsee and revealed that it was during the wrap-up party of Manmarziyaan. "Both Vicky and I got too drunk and we were lying in the garden. I was like,'This is where I will sleep tonight'," Taapsee added further.
Adding more to this, Vicky said that he had to threat Taapsee that he will leave if she didn’t get up. "All of us would go there for walks after dinner every day. That night, Taapsee flat-out refused to leave, saying she wanted to crash there. I had to say,'Main jaa raha hoon' to convince her to leave," said Vicky.
Taapsee was last seen in Badla which was a Shoojit Sircar directorial. The film was an investigative thriller and also starred Amitabh Bachchan in other lead role. Badla was produced by Shah Rukh Khan and was a huge success at the box office. Taapsee will next be seen in Tadka, Mission Mangal and Saand Ki Aankh. All these three films under various stages of production.
On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Uri: The Surgical Strikes which depicted the series of incidents that took place during the surgical strikes carried out by Indian Army recently. Vicky will next be seen playing Sardar Udham Singh in a film with the same title which will be directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film will be a biopic on the Sardar Udham Singh who was a revolutionary freedom fighter.
