Since quite some time now we have been hearing stories that Tamannah Bhatia, who plays Avantika in Baahubali: The Conclusion, is upset with SS Rajamouli for chopping her role off in the film. If you have watched the film, you would know that Tamannah barely has a role in the film. She appears in the last few minutes and that's that. As per reports in DNA, her role was longer in part 2 but her scenes were chopped off from the last edit of the film. The report further suggests that she was upset with the director as she was as surprised as the rest of us from her barely-there role.
However, we hear that Tamannah was very well aware that she wasn't going to have a huge role to play in the film. Apparently, it was written in her contract very clearly that she won't have much to do in the film. So if that's the case, then why is she creating an issue out of this? I mean if she was well informed about her role in the film, then ideally there is no reason for her to be miffed with the filmmaker. However, we don't have a clarity about this issue and it would be great if Tamannah herself would come out in the open to speak up about this. Baahubali: The Conclusion, the sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning, hit screens last week, on April 28. Ever since then, the film has been on a record breaking spree at the box office. Every day, innumerous people are flocking to the movie theatres to find out why Katappa killed Baahubali and well, we don't blame them! The storyline of the prequel has left such an impact on viewers that they cannot help but go and find out the answer to the ultimate question - Why did Katappa kill Baahubali. For those who don't know, Baahubali 2 opened to an insane occupancy of 95 per cent across 8000 screens in India. This is clearly more than Shah Rukh Khan's Raees' opening occupancy of 70 per cent, which was the highest occupancy of 2017 till then. Not just that, SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 has turned out to become the highest opening day grosser of 2017 as it netted Rs 121 crore on day 1. Clearly, there is no stopping to this storm called Baahubali!
