Tamasha song Heer toh badi sad hai: Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's happy sad song is really CATCHY!

A few days back we shared with you the making of a song from Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's Tamasha, Heer toh badi sad hai which was released even before the song was out. While the song was peppy, the actress looked pretty forlorn. Now, the song is out and it is really catchy. Called the Happy sad song, it is an unusual number to depict disappointment. But we feel making Ranbir be the face of this Mika Sing number was a deliberate attempt to include him in the track as well.

The making suggested that it will be a Deepika only track but the video has Ranbir singing the song, although he doesn't share any scene with the actress. He is mostly seen as a narrator, saying it through lyrics. But whatever may be the gimmicks used, the track definitely is catchy. A R Rahman and Mika's collaboration has come up with a fascinating track. Staying true to the premise of being happy and sad, Deepika can be seen sorrowful at one instant and chuckling at another. We also loved Ranbir's cute expressions to the lyrics.
