If you loved their crackling friction in the cult hit Jolly LLB, here's a chance to see them on screen again!
We are speaking about both Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, whom we have not seen in a very long time in some good roles (Seriously do we really have to wait for the nest Munna Bhai film for that to happen?). Arshad Warsi was last seen in 2015, where his two films, Welcome to Karachi and Guddu Rangeela, that had the amazingly talented actor in the one of the lead roles, getting thrashed at the box office. Boman Irani's last major release was in Dilwale, where he was pretty much wasted. He was also seen in another movie this year, Santa Banta Pvt Ltd., but if you haven't heard about the movie yet, you know what happened with it.
Anyways, they are coming together for this film called The Legend of Michael Mishra, a corny comedy that is directed by Manish Jha, who previously made serious films like Matrubhoomi - A Nation Without Women and Anwar (the film withe Maula Mere Maul song, remember it?). The first poster of the film is out and it has Arshad Warsi riding on a decorated buffalo aiming to flying high, while Boman Irani is walking next to him.
While the poster is surely quirky, is it me or does the entire poster has a Gangs of Wasseypur poster hangover, especially the colour tone? Do share your comments on this...
The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari as the female lead. Boman Irani's son, Kayoze, who made his debut in Student of The Year, will also be seen in this much delayed film.
The Legend of Michael Mishra is scheduled to release on August 5.
