The casting director of the entertainment industry, Seher Aly Latif, who worked in films like The Lunchbox, Shakuntala Devi and others, passed away on Monday due to renal failure. Celebs like Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, Anurag Kashyap, Shibani Dandekar, Rohit Saraf, Mitali Palkar, Nimrat Kaur, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Nora Fatehi, Masaba Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, Ritesh Batra, Nimrat Kaur and others mourned the demise of the talented personality on social media.

While Mukesh Chhabra wrote, "Amazing casting director, amazing producer and even amazing friend, an irreplaceable loss to the casting community of Indian cinema. Rest in peace," Huma Qureshi posted, "I cannot believe you are gone."
