Just before the release of the Thugs of Hindostan trailer, the social media went crazy when Karan Johar shared a “blockbuster” photo featuring the filmmaker, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The picture went viral the moment it was shared on Instagram. Although the picture did not steal the Thugs of Hindsotan trailer release’s thunder, it has left Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif upset.
During the launch of the trailer, Aamir was asked about the viral moment from last night. It was then that Amitabh revealed that he was discussing with Katrina about the moment and cheekily revealed that he and Katrina are upset that they weren’t invited.
“Aur hum sab ko bahut dukh hua hai ke hume bhulaya nahi gaya (we all were very upset that we weren’t invited.) We all were very upset we weren’t called,” Amitabh said. “Hum kabhi kabhi milte hai, mazza aata hai, waqt saath mein bitate hai (we meet sometimes, have fun and spend some time together,” Aamir said about the picture.
“We’re deeply depressed and we’re going to hold it against you and Ranbir,” Amitabh added, to which Aamir said, “Kaash wo mera ghar hota (I wish it was my house,)” Aamir tried to defend.
While the actor refused to let in more on the events that transpired last night, we’re sure they had a lot of fun but Amitabh-Katrina's feelings of being left out is justified. We feel you guys, we truly do! Thugs of Hindostan is set to release this Diwali, November 8.
