Riteish and Nargis looked stunning at the promotions of Banjo
As Banjo's release date is coming closer, Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri are going all out to promote their upcoming film. This time they went on the sets of &TV's The Voice India Kids, which is the only singing reality show airing at the moment. This was an apt choice for the promotions considering Banjo is a musical drama. Both Riteish and Nagis looked fab in their Indian outfits.
They both also visited Mumbai’s NM College today, where they not only shook a leg with students and fans but also also promoted eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Riteish was also seen promoting his movie on dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9' some days ago.
Not many days ago, in a unique promotional strategy, the makers of Banjo had also conducted flash mobs across nine iconic locations in Mumbai on the eve of Independence Day (15th August).
The film's trailer and songs have already created a lot of excitement, Thank God Bappa being the recent one . With Ganesh Chaturthi being round the corner, Banjo's songs are getting on everyone's playlist. Riteish has turned into a rapper in this one and everyone is loving the cool yet sensible song.
The film's trailer released a month back and left us all excited. Directed by Ravi Jadhav (who previously made the much entertaining Marathi flicks Balak Palak and Time Pass); Banjo follows the journey of a local band, consisting of Riteish Deshmukh, Dharmesh Yelande and co. They are discovered by a US returned musician, played by Nargis Fakhri, who convinces the boys to make a proper band and join the big league. The rest of the film covers their struggles.
Banjo hits the screens on September 23.
