The makers released two TV spots where tensions are brewing between the two superheroes.
Sure, the second trailer of Batman V Superman was underwhelming, with the promo straightaway revealing that Batman and Superman are not going to foes for long. They will team up with Wonder Woman to take down a bigger formidable threat to Earth who could or could not be Doomsday. However, the Warner Bros. are trying their best to salvage the situation as much as they can. First, they released a fantastic second trailer of Suicide Squad, where even Jai Courtney looks competent enough, while Margot Robbie is definitely the scene-stealer (Check out that lil scene where she mock-shoots at people in a strip club...I just can't get over that scene!). As with regards to Batman v Superman, they are releasing these little promos that are totally focussed on the trouble between the two superheroes, instead of any third party elements, thus living up to the title. The first TV spot is focusses on Clark Kent (Henry Cavill), and later on his far well-known alter ego, Superman, as he discusses rather fiercely with his editor, Perry White (Laurence Fishburne) about the vigilante they call Batman. Meanwhile, on the other side i.e. the second promo, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) has an animated discussion with Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons), about how Man of Steel is bringing war to Earth. Two diametrically opposite view, and we are still not sure whom to support!
Batman v Superman also stars Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
