She had been selected from nearly 300 aspirants, and the reason for her selection was her proficiency in ballet, kathak and belly dancing. About working with Sabbir Khan, she said, "Sabbir sir has launched the careers of Tiger and Kriti Sanon with Heropanti and I knew I am in capable hands. The first time I met him, I was really nervous. He advised me to leave the pressure behind and focus on my training. Now, I'm raring to dance for the camera. It will be nerve-wrecking to dance with Tiger but I'm super-excited."
The film will also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who will play a character with grey shades.
