The bilingual flick is titled Oopiri in Telugu and Thozha in Tamil!
After making a huge impact with his last Tamil film Payanam, Nagarjuna is back to Kollywood with Thoza. The remake of 2011 French film The Intouchables, this Tamil/Telugu bilingual stars Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah in lead roles.
Produced by PVP cinemas, Thoza/Oopiri deals with the interactions between a quadriplegic patient and his caretaker. While Nagarjuna don the quadriplegic avatar, Karthi plays his caretaker. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the film was extensively shot in Paris and other French cities. The motion poster of Thozha/Oopiri is out and this is what I thought of it:
The Eiffel Tower in the motion poster stands out prominently transporting us to the beautiful city of Paris. The poster design work is unique and colours are vibrant, melting in our eyes. In the motion poster one could see a quadriplegic Nagarjuna zooming on the wheelchair, with a happy looking Karthi pushing him effortlessly through the streets of Paris. The film's tag line Celebration of Life is etched in bold letters in the poster. Another thing to be noted is that the motion poster has been unveiled on the birthday of Nagarjuna's father late Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
