During the promotional event of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ranbir Kapoor, “We are at times now where we should not give deadlines to marriage, age. When one falls in love, a wedding will happen, then children will happen. I think everything is natural progress.” The actor added that it was Ayan Mukerji, who changed his mind. “This is Ayan’s teaching to me. When I got to know him four years back, I was in a hurry to get married. I said, ‘I want to get married, I want to get married, I want to have children.’ He would tell me, ‘Relax, you’re just starting out your career, meet people, live your life a bit then get married,” said the Sanju actor.
On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Shamshera, which is scheduled to release in June has got delayed due to the second wave of COVID-19. Produced under the YRF banner, the film is directed by Agneepath (2012) Karan Malhotra and also features Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. Post that, he will be seen in Brahmastra, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna Akkineni, with a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. Made on a lavish budget, the film is the first part in a trilogy, and we are expecting to see the lead actor, Ranbir Kapoor, with some mind-boggling superpowers. Mouni Roy is playing the lead antagonist in Brahmastra.
