It will be a year since Thor: Ragnarok released but we cannot get over how funny the third installment of the Thor movie was. The Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston starrer was directed by Taika Waititi and it was undoubtedly one of the most-funniest Marvel movie yet. We could list a slew of scene which began our favourite moments from the movie – right from the epic Thor and Hulk fight to the scene wherein Hulk behaves like a child – however the best scene, hands down, was the “Get Help” scene.
The hysterical scene featuring Loki and Thor was a winner for us. Right from Loki dreading it to perform it to Thor actually throwing Loki at the guards at on the planet Sakaar, everything panned out to be an epic moment from the movie. However, Hiddleston now reveals that the scene Get Help concept was created on the spot by the genius Taika Waititi.
Speaking at ACE Comic-Con recently, the Loki actor revealed how it all happened. “I think that the one that’s kind of had its own life after the film is ‘Get help!’ We literally just came up with it on the day,” he explained.
“As something, this idea that this is a trick that Thor and Loki used to, you know, they used to use it as a game when they were kids and they stopped doing it a long time ago but it used to work and it might just work this time. They got one last ace up their sleeve. And the idea that Loki hated it, and just was like, ‘I don’t want to do it. It’s humiliating. And that Thor was like, ‘You’re going to love it! Come on!’ in a big brother way. And then it works. In that moment, I always love the fact that it wasn’t just a funny moment, but actually, you understand something deeper about them as brothers, and I think those moments are really special,” he explained.
Awww! We too had pictured ourselves with our siblings when the scene panned out. Check out the video here:
The Loki star, who was seen dying at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War, is rumoured to be seen in Avengers 4 after a set of leaked pictures featuring him went viral. Speaking about the God of Mischief’s death, he did not confirm nor deny that fact that Loki is indeed dead.
Several theories have got us hanging on to a string of hope that maybe, just maybe, Loki would return. “Listen... I’ve heard some amazing theories about this. I was in a park in London a couple of weeks ago, and some guys came and said hi, and they asked me the same question. They said, ‘Hey, listen, we need an answer to this question. All the other times Loki’s died’ — there’s been a few — ‘he stabs with his right hand. And now he’s stabbing with his left hand.’ I was like, ‘That’s incredible attention to detail,” he said only to add, “Your guess is as good as mine.”
Damn you, Tom! Just let us in on some spoilers, please!!!
