The list contains the 5 most listened to songs in the country
Another week draws to a close and Sunday is upon us once again, which means its time for trending tunes. In this week's trending tunes feature we have 5 famous songs for you with a special mention of a regional song which is breaking the internet. Checkout the songs that are stuck in everybody's head:
Yeh Fitoor Mera (Fitoor)
This title track from the Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer never ceases to be amazing. The slow guitar strum in the beginning gives goosebumps and Arijit Singh is purely magical with his voice which drips with passion. The music is simple and increases in tempo as the song progresses. This Amit Trivedi and Arijit Singh combo is perhaps one of the best things to happen to Bollywood music in recent times. One can clearly picturize all the love and longing that the hero Noor has for Firdaus and looking at Katrina in her flaming red hair avatar, you can't help falling in love too with the song and her amazing beauty.
Two words define this song, grace and sensuality. If you thought Katrina and Aditya had amazing chemistry in Yeh Fitoor Mera, then wait till you see Pashmina. The pair's spellbinding dance and poise will leave you dazed. Of course, the music is just as splendid as the choreography and setting. The music is light and befitting to the lyrics and Trivedi's vocals. Fitoor is definitely a big musical hit if not anything else.
Tere bin (Wazir)
This track from Wazir is beautiful and a bit traditional in its composition. There is a liberal use of tabla and other classical instruments along with a smattering of acoustic guitar. Playback duo of Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal takes you back to the nostalgic days when they used to feature in every song. Tere Bin depicts love in its purest form, the special bond between a husband and wife. Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari look awesome together and the scenes of traditional Nikah ceremony is just adorable.
Sanam Re (Sanam Re)
Mithoon has composed the music and lyrics for this title song of the movie and he has done a damn good job too. The fusion of tabla along with a little electric guitar is quite refreshing to hear. Arijit Singh is breathtaking as always with his croon. The sizzling passionate chemistry between Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam sets the screen on fire. The feelings of romance and heartbreak are perfectly portrayed in this number. The beautiful exotic locations are an added bonus to Sanam Re.
Soch Na Sake (Airlift)
This Amaal Mallik composed song from Airlift is every bit as sweet as it is sad. It has a very mature and realistic theme to it which almost all married couples can relate to. The feeling of separation in love is perfectly brought out in this song. Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur are naturals and gives you a feeling that you are watching an actual couple instead of one on screen. Arijit Singh's melodious voice imparts beauty to an already great song. He is well supported by singer Tulsi Kumar. The Punjabi lyrics add a whole new depth to the number.
Thalli Pogathey (Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada)
Even though it is not a Bollywood song, this Tamil number from the movie Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada deserves a mention because it is topping the charts all over. A.R.Rahman has breathed magic with his amazing music and singers Sid Sriram and Aparna Narayanan are no less amazing. Do checkout this song too if you like.
