Bollywoodlife is back with another segment of honouring the best music this week. We knew chitta Ve is going to last long upon its release, and so it did. The new song this week is from a psychological thriller starring Radhika Apte titledPhobia. So, you know the drill, plug in your headphones, turn up the volume and forget worries for a few minutes.
Chitta Ve (Udta Punjab)
This track from Udta Punjab is a rock number and Shahid Kapoor is the perfect rockstar. His long hair look and crazy energy as music sensation Tommy Singh is just spot on. The lyrics penned by Shelle are catchy and appealing to the young crowd. Also, Amit Trivedi has composed the perfect soundtrack that is energetic. Babu Habi, Shahid Mallya & Bhanu Prtap’s vocal team up will leave you dazed. Overall, the song you cannot stop listening to again and again! All in all this one rocking trippy number.
Sairat can give any Bollywood movie a run for the money. One of the finest Indian film this year also has a great music. And one song is topping the music charts- Jhingat. Composed by Atul, this is one peppy number, and will make you tap your foot. High on energy, the song is beautifully sung by Ajay Gogavale.
Malamaal (Housefull 3)
It's a dance worthy bhangra-ish song, of course is super fun. Malamaal from Housefull 3, it has all the right ingredients for a peppy Punjabi party song. Mika Singh rules once again in this number with his voice. But the best part about Malamaal other than the comic timing of Akshay, Abhishek and Riteish is the breathtaking location in which the entire song is set. The makers truly had to be Malamaal to film this song!
Roke Na Ruke (Phobia)
A peppy romantic number from the forthcoming Radhika Apte film is what you should be listening to right now. Sakina Khan and Siddharth Basroor perfectly voice this melody composed by Daniel B George. Lyrics are penned by Jay Shankar Prasad. And watching the two actors dancing in the video might make get up and sway as well.
Ikk Kudi (Udta Punjab)
Diljit Dosanjh's voice teamed with a the poem Ikk Kudi written by Late Shri Shiv Kumar Batalvi is a beautiful track that speaks of hopes and dreams. Thanks to Amit Trivedi's melodious track, this number is soon to become one big hit. Because it's already a rage in Punjab.
