Trouble between Saath Nibhaana Saathiya's Rupal Patel-Vandana Pathak aka Kokila and Gaura?

After Saath Nibhaana Saathiya's Tanya Sharma and Sonam Lamba, there are reports of trouble brewing between Rupal Patel and Vandana Pathak, from the show. The two play popular characters Kokila and Gaura in the series and are seen as arch rivals. Well looks like the cold war has seen its way from their reel to real lives. A popular entertainment daily recently reported that the two ladies aren't on good terms and all is supposedly not well between them. The reason is said to be Vandana's entry in the show.

Rupal has been in the limelight for her role as Kokila since several years. Hence now that the spotlight is being shared by Vandana, there seems to be some friction between the two senior actresses. A source while talking to the daily said," Rupal's character has been enjoying a strong track for years on the show. Now suddenly when another strong negative lad character has been introduced, there is bound to be a certain amount of rivalry."

When asked to comment on the same, Vandana told the daily saying," This is a completely different set and experience. I am used to working with people who connect and rehearse an have fun working with each other. But here, people prefer to keep to themselves and I think it is justified because everyone can't be the same. Rupal is a professional and we greet each other everyday. We are just two different people."

Rupal on the other hand stated that there exists no competition between her and Vandana." I have always maintained a cordial relationship with all my colleagues. Also, I'm not playing a negative character in this show; I am playing a strong balanced woman, so there is no question of competition here. I am an introvert and don't talk too much on the sets. It's just not 'me' but that does not mean I don't get along with anyone.
