Uday Chopra loves to shares his thoughts on Twitter, whatever it may be. He even posted about a death wish. He had written, "Is it illegal to pay someone to kill you?" Of course, we were traumatised to read this and wondered what was wrong with the guy. We were even silently wishing YRF starts another Dhoom film just to get Uday back to sanity. Then recently, he tweeted something about Marijuana and we felt not everything is lost yet. But that's not how Mumbai Police perceived his thoughts on Marijuana and even read the law behind it.
Now let us tell you what exactly Uday wrote. His post read, "I feel India should legalize marijuana. Firstly, It's part of our culture. Secondly, I think if legalized and taxed it can be a huge revenue source. Not to mention it will remove the criminal element associated with it. Plus and most importantly it has a lot of medical benefits!" In case you think he was saying all this to help his own cause, the actor was quick to add here, "And no I do not use it. I just really think it’s a wise move, given our history with the plant." Interestingly, people on Twitter were divided on the same. Some sided with him listing out marijuana's place in Vedas while others thought it made no sense. It was only time before Mumbai Police reacts to his post and they did. Check out the reaction here...
Well, we hope Uday Chopra has found his answer.
