Ah love is in the air! And cupid has struck the television stars with an arrow, too. Every other celebrity is doing something special for their better half on this Valentine's Day. And our TV couple have the best things planned for their loved ones. Their Instagram posts are proof enough that they just can't get enough of each other. Here's what some of these actors have to say about their plans to celebrate this day.
Ravi Dubey who plays Satya in Jamai Raja, "In our initial years in Mumbai, Sargun and I used to stay together in a small flat in a four storeyed building which had a water tank on the roof and a space above it. It was on one valentine’s day, that I created a private space on the top of the water tank, decorated it with a giant greeting card and some candles and lights and both of us spent time there gazing at stars and sipping coffee while listening to music. Even though it was nothing fancy, it still remains one of our most special ones. Let's hope we get to spend quality time together this year too.’’ (ALSO READ: Kumkum Bhagya’s Abhi-Pragya v/s us on Valentine’s Day)
Shikha Singh who plays Alia in Kumkum Bhagya shares, " Every day is a Valentine's day for me when my husband Karan is around. He is completely the non-romantic types so I have to make an effort. This year it would be a nice romantic dinner, followed by a long drive. Hope each one of us gets to spend quality time with our loved ones. Here is wishing a happy Valentine's Day to all."
Vin Rana who plays Purab in KumKum Bhagya said , " Valentine's Day is really really special because I had proposed to my wife Neeta, on the same day two years ago. It was a surprise for her and she was totally overwhelmed. The day still remains very special for us. This year I have plans to do something which will bring back our fond memories but it’s a surprise.’’
Karan Sharma who plays Krishna in Kaala Teeka, " Earlier I never really believed in Valentine’s Day but two years ago while partying at a friend’s place on the same day I met my life partner Tiara. It was love at first sight and I still consider the day auspicious. This year I am planning to take her out of town for a small vacation and we intend to spend some time amidst nature. I want to make it special since this is going to be our first valentine's day after marriage."
Sartaj Gill who plays Raaja in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani said, ”I have a very special memory of Valentine’s Day. A few years back I was madly in love with a girl who I thought was ‘the one’. It was our first Valentine’s day together and I wanted to make it special. So I took my mother’s help and we bought a heart shaped gold pendant for her. The girl was ecstatic to receive this precious gift. Currently my mother is the only woman in my life so I think I will take her out and treat her to a sumptuous lunch.”
Ridhi Dogra who plays Nisha Jindal in Woh… Apna Sa said, “I am not a Valentine’s Day sort of person as I feel that one day is not enough to express your love for your loved ones. I remember in school Valentine’s day used to be almost like a festival. Every girl would dress up for the occasion and the boys would muster the courage to profess their love for them. My fondest memory is of my brother getting married on Valentine’s Day. Their love story is inspiring, as they have been childhood sweethearts and were together for many years before they got married. This year I am shooting so I do not have any plans but would like to wish all my fans a very happy Valentine’s Day.”
Eisha Singh who plays Naina in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani said, “Valentine’s day is a celebration of relationships and an opportunity to show your loved ones how special they are to you. Every Valentine’s day I celebrate with my family because I love them the most in this world. This year I will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on the sets with my co-stars. I would like to wish all our viewers a very Happy Valentine’s Day and may you always have that special someone who completes you.”
