After Devi, a horror comedy where Tammannaah, Prabhudheva and Sonu tickled our funny bone, director AL Vijay is back with a jungle-theme film this time. The movie goes by the title - Vanamagan and the tagline reads - Son of Nature. The intriguing film stars Jayam Ravi and Sayyeshaa Saigal, who by the way are teaming up for the first time. Set against the backdrop of jungles, Jayam Ravi's tribal avatar seems to be inspired by Tarzan. That's the first thought that came to mind, when the first look was out. And now the makers just released new stills from Vanamagan, looks like they are taking the jungle theme too seriously. In one of the stills, Sayyeshaa Saigal is seen in a bizarre leaf dress and so is Jayam Ravi and their chemistry looks awkward. Then there's another still where Sayyeshaa Saigal is seen wearing a magenta gown, held awkwardly ( again) by Jayam Ravi. Except for locales, nothing about these stills are exciting us. Right from the first look to the teaser to the stills, the film's rich cinematography has been a big talking point of this movie. In other news, Jayam Ravi was last seen in actioner film - Bogan that also starred Arvind Swamy and Hansika Motwani. Despite receiving positive reviews, Bogan didn't fare too well at the BO. Jayam Ravi will also be working on a unique space concept film - Tik Tik Tik. His son Aarav will debut in this film alongside his father. Jayam Ravi is also training for his role in Sundar C's big budget movie - Sanghamitra. Reportedly, he will be training sword fighting and horse riding for this role in this magnum opus. The film also stars Arya and Shruti Haasan. This film will be one of the most expensive films made till date, even more than Baahubali. As for Sayyeshaa Saigal, she was last seen in Ajay Devgn's directorial venture - Shivaay.
