Over the past few months, several old classics have been recreated by filmmakers to add some interesting twist to their movie. Yes, the trend of rehashing old songs by adding a few more lines and beats has gained momentum. And it has been successful too. From the Humma song in OK Jaanu to Laila O Laila in Raees and Haseeno Ka Deewana in Kaabil, there have been quite a few classics that we have liked after they have been remade. And with Tamma Tamma being recreated for Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan's Badrinath Ki Dulhania, we decided to check out a few recent songs and give you 5 old classics that were recreated with a twist. Here's our list:
# Tamma Tamma Again
Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan's Badrinath Ki Dulhania has recreated the hit song - Tamma Tamma from Thanedaar. The song has been revisited and made into Tamma Tamma again. You will see a few more beats and changes in lyrics, when the song releases tomorrow. So stay tuned right here...
# Laila Main Laila
Sunny Leone danced to Laila Main Laila in Raees and we have to say the sizzling item number was a rage when it hit the screens. In fact, people in cinema halls started dancing whenever it played. Being recreated from the song of the same name from Qurbaani, the latest song has a bit more glamour and a trendier background music. # Haseeno Ka Deewana
Haseeno Ka Deewana was recreated from Yaarana's Saara Zamana recently. They changed the name of the song and a few lines, but the music was totally the same, with the exception of a few beats here and there. But Urvashi Rautela took the song to another level with his sizzling dance in the Kaabil song.
# The Humma song
A R Rahman's musical masterpiece - Humma Humma was recreated for OK Jaanu by adding a few beats and rap lines. While the rap was average, the new beats uplifted the song very well. Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor's adorable chemistry also made the song a decent watch.
# Kisi Se Pyar Ho Jaye
Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam's Kaabil recreated another song - Dil Kya Kare from Julie. Again they changed the name to Kisi Se Pyar Ho Jaye, but otherwise it was the same number. The romantic lyrics were uplifted by Jubin Nautiyal's voice and Rajesh Roshan's music. And we loved this song to the core.
